Little Intro Hike

SAEP was running a holiday school out in Philippi today to help the kids get ahead during their Easter vacation. After attending the staff meeting this morning (which I hadn't realized I'd missed so much) we spent some time catching up with my former teammates and took a drive out to see the tutoring in action. We finally stretched our legs a bit this evening on the back side of Table Mountain, seeing a nice sunset and climbing onto Rhodes Memorial. There are better views to come, but it was still a great day of reuniting with old friends, hot sand, the wild townships, and the umbrella pines.
