Old Locomotive Shed

Well after my short shift this morning I headed down to Darlington to snap inside this old Locomotive shed that I was now able to access I bumped into a local dog walker who said they were trying to get a preservation order on the building as seemingly it was one of the first if not the first steam loco shed built in Britain back in the 1800's I dont know much about it but I found out on one of the websites about old loco sheds that this one closed on 26/03/1966 some 40 years ago to the day if I do have the correct information that is but all the information about It and where it was situated all seems to fit in place.so this is my blip for the day, SO AS I am off tomorrow and the weather forecast looks good for lots of sun I am thinking about a spot of hillwalking so hopefully the weatherman is right
