Eating the Rain

Bob's farm birthday party was canceled today because of the expected rain. I was so frustrated when the rain held off until many hours after the party was supposed to end. But it looks like almost everyone will be able to attend next week at our new beach venue (since the farm was unavailable).

Yesterday, Bob and I picked out some rainboots. He was so excited to be able to wear them today. We spent an hour outside in the pouring rain. Getting him inside was a chore. Maybe he needs rain pants, too, because his shorts and underwear were completely soaked.
