Rusty skies

It was a beautiful day today - sun and a real feeling of spring in the air.

Took a drive out to see a friend and was pointed in the direction of this large, rusty sculpture. It's not the kind of thing you'd expect to see out in the beautiful countryside - but it does make a unique statement as an entrance piece to a local vineyard (alternative angle here).

I've never been to this particular vineyard before so have added it to my list of places to visit over the summer.......
