Flowers by the Side of the Road #2
DJ Kawasaki - Promises
Close to my apartment there are flowers by the side of the road. They're always changed every season. It interesting to see them grow, bloom, die, then change. Personally I find the process to be a waste of time. Like food, gardening seems to be a futile activity, its lifespan short without tangible evidence. People spend hours to make food only to be eaten within 20 minutes or so. It pains me, to be honest, and I refrain from delving my mind into the topic for any extensive amount of time. Nonetheless, any activity will appear futile due to the ever looming fact of dissipative memory and the ever changing groups of values.
Just show the love and appreciation when the opportunity arises. The momentary joys make the end worthwhile.
