cute but annoying

this is a weed vine that comes over our fence and tangles all over our bushes. We usually pull it off before it makes flowers and fruits (?) (seedpods?) -orange things. It looks like a baby gourd or squash or something, but is only a little over 1 inch long. I took some shots of it on the bushes, then pulled it off and put it on the glass patio table and liked it there better.
