Visiting Mum

We hired a car for the weekend and went to see Mum & organise her lunch, to give Mr T's sister a little break. She really enjoyed sitting out in the sunshine.

Had some very sad news before we left: a cousin in the USA, whom we'd planned to visit in the summer, has passed away. She and her husband were like a second Mum & Dad to me when we went on a working holiday in 1970. I'd never been abroad before and was so homesick, they were just wonderful and we have kept in touch ever since.
