asha's dedication and birthday party

Today we attended Asha's dedication followed by a celebration party for the dedication and her 1st birthday which will fall next week. As she'll be in Rio airport on the big day, it seemed like a good idea to celebrate early - what a jetsetter!

Here we see Asha with her birthday cake and her beloved grandmaman who is clearly a firm favourite.

In other news, Mr B celebrated his birthday today but insisted on doing so quietly so as not to steal Asha's limelight. This wasn't entirely selfless, he's not a big fan of fuss. On arrival home, he went off out on his bike in the sunsine, it seemed to make him happy!
