The beautiful chemistry of milk

This is the pattern formed by some milk left out in a thunderstorm for our visiting cat Samwise (who seems to have invited himself in as a permanent resident). Cool eh!?

Obviously, it is a little edited but I didn't add the colour, I just played with contrast and brightness.
