Memories

Another perfect Sunday. All of us were still feeling stuffed after such a great dinner last night so we decided a good walk would help. We visited the Barbican, Museum of London, Smithfields Market, Holborn Viaduct, Old Bailey, St Paul's, One New Change, Guildhall, Bank of England, Leadenhall Market, Lloyd's Building, Gherkin, Heron Tower, Liverpool Street, Finsbury Square and then home. A great day looking at some amazing architecture and history of London.

The photo was taken in the Blitz section of the Museum of London and the man featured was recalling his memories of the events. I've sat and listened to this video a number of times on previous visits but its still so hard to imagine what it must have been like and how different London looks today.
