The Last Supper
What a brilliant start to British Summer Time.
We got up early, well for us it was early, and headed into town for a late breakfast, well brunch actually, at the Blue Mountain. it was a tad on the pricey side at £15.10 for 2 small breakfasts, but it was delicious and the bacon etc was certainly not crap cheapo stuff.
After that we headed up to the end of the street to the art gallery to see the Van Gogh to Vettriano exhibition. This a a show that features paintings from people's private collections. This one featured is called, " The Last Supper" by Howson. The main character is supposed to be Jeremy Isaacs, the Glasgow born former head of the Royal Opera.
This is not the whole of the painting, but most of it.
After that we came home and pottered about in the garden.
