Spring!!

We managed a spring day that actually fell on a weekend, and that we could all enjoy together as a family. As promised, we dutifully took the kids to Balmedie Beach.

When we got there, it was cold and foggy and a complete waste of the 45min it took to drive there (not to mention the 15 it took to organise the kids, and get them in the car.).
So, we had no choice but to go inland to find the sun.

We did. We found it in Banchory, and managed to salvage the day. We found a park, complete with beautiful views (something for the adults), and while we missed the coffee shop; did manage a meal out on the way home.

It was a good day in the end, and I also managed a few pictures of the kids. When they're older and all that they can remember is how I used to yell at them to put their stuff away all of the time, they didn't spend all of their days slaving. I will have the photos to prove it.
