Ophelia's first prize!

It was the preschool Easter fair today and Ophelia won first prize for her decorated egg. It's the first time she's entered a competition of any sort and she did a fine job getting her fingers sticky with glue and tissue paper to create her 'fishy' (which actually was intended to be a parrot but morphed part way through). She collected her prize from the Easter bunny. Grace was a little disappointed that her mermaid didn't win anything. I can tell that it must be tough when kids start competing against each other at school. Am I right?
