Happy Spring!

This is one of the daffodils on our deck. It is a sunny day. The earth smells fresh. I feel warm as I bask in the sun coming in through the deck doors. This morning the crows were bold and came on our deck railings to eat their favorite dry dog food. They didn't let the jays intimidate them for a change. It is my brother's birthday and the Whatcom Symphony Orchestra is giving a concert including Mozart's concerto for flute and harp. We will go and then head off with Steve to Dave and Nora's for a birthday dinner. A delightful day. So here is a bright daffodil to pass on to you a bit of the joy of spring.
