Ticking Away the Moments

H is for...

Hand! Giant one at that, and one which cost £250 at our local little garden centre, so you won't be surprised to learn that we didn't buy it - partly due to the price and partly as I think it is a bit creepy, who would want that in their garden?!

Have had a lovely day today, bit of pottering round the garden, visit to the garden centre and also the farm shop where we had a chat to David, whose farm it is - he's planted oil-seed rape in the fields round the village and was telling us about his plans for a farm open day in the summer, where we can see how they extract the oil from the harvested crop.

Watched Tigers beat London Irish on TV - that's good as we're only a point behind them - good game for a neutral to watch as the lead kept changing hands and Tigers scored a try in overtime at the end.

Then Gary's daughter, husband & two kids came round, as did one of his other daughters (he's got 3 altogther) and Gary cooked us all a gorgeous Sunday roast dinner (chicken, roast parsnips, potatoes & butternut squash, peas, sprouts, Yorkshire puds and gravy) - now watching Avatar while we recover from eating a bit too much ;o)
