White crocus
A lovely day today, so I spent an hour and a half out in the garden - not doing really full-on gardening, just a bit of weeding, pruning, giving the compost a bit of a shoogle and planting out some seeds. But my legs are really letting me know about it now!
This is a closeup of one of my white crocuses, which waited till the yellow ones had finished before they deigned to flower. Quite a few of the bulbs are emerging now - though still no signs of the anemones I planted before Christmas, which are supposed to flower in March. The tulips I planted at the same time are doing great and will be flowering in the next couple of weeks I would think. So we're starting to get a bit of colour, slowly.
The clematis at the front door is all of a sudden throwing up shoots all over the place. Mostly leaves, but I've counted 3 flower buds so hopefully it'll give us a good display soon.
