A lovely day.

Today I invited three kids from my class and their mums over for brunch. I got up at the new 8am to make banana muffins to add to the table. The bananas I used were so bruised and over ripe that they were virtually black, looked truly disgusting! The muffins tasted fantastic however!
After everyone left it was basketball time. I wandered to the beach for a lemon soda and a quick read of my book. I chose the cafe with sofa seats on the beach. Very relaxing. All the little sailing boats were out on the sea, just visible on the horizon.
