Gardening again

I forgot the hour change today, but quickly realised what had happened when what I expected to be 06:00 news was preceded by a weather forecast!

Next was the Malaysian GP - disrupted by weather, but quite exciting on sound only - great drive by Alonso, but Perez has to be my driver of the day.

After the delays to the GP, it was another gardening day, now about 50% of the garden has been tidied-up (nothing more). So today's image is just an update on the magnolia story - a few of the flowers are now just about fully out, but height means I have only photographed one I can reach. DOF control and wind movement were quite a problem for this shot. Olympus Pen E-P3, 35mm macro.

Oh, and on the subject of the gardening, the green bin was emptied on Friday, so nearly 2 weeks to wait until it is emptied again, and it is already full, and a substantial pile of other green material is accumulating next to it.
