Anyway, the skate park in the local park has been in use for the past two weeks, but I was reliably informed this morning that it will be officially opened by the Mayor, no less! No, not Boris!!! The local mayor. It will all kick off at 2pm, but this sk8r told me that he was here early because there would be a big crowd later, and he also said that he was very pleased that another skate park had opened in south London.

There's been a lot of controversy about this park - some people were set against it.
