Day off

So....

....had a (well-deserved) day-off today. Popped into local cafe for lunchtime sustenance (can justify this because it's a day off fi work). HOWEVER, I always forget that the service is dire and the food overpriced! But this was the first time I realised that the reading material was crap. However in the interests of a balanced viewpoint I read it - hmmm, they seem to like that Palin woman.....opps, sorry, that Palin woman! Just think about this, because some 18 year old "redneck" and some bird wi a ridiculous name, couldn't muster self-control/birth-control the history of the world will (possibly) change!

Anyway, so apparently I still look like the sorta person the may go to see "the Ladyboys of Bangkok" and/or the sorta person that is interested in the outcome of BB....No! No! No!

And then later spent time with The Birthday Person - a GREAT evening! Lots of chat, G&Ts and hilarity.

Can't believe that The Birthday Person has achieved this Milestone - as we all said tonight "time flies".........
