Boot Sale Boat

Bit of a pointless exercise, but I enjoyed it! Saw this toy at a Boot sale, it is missing some bits so was cheap for only a fiver. My mind was working ( Does sometimes!) on how to convert it, first, need a radio, tour the Boot Sale again, looking for a broken RC Buggy, there were plenty to choose from and a fiver got one, " It doesn't go anymore. Motor runs but it doesn't move!" Usual complaint, gearbox dead, these are made with metal gears driving a nylon final drive, result after a short time, no drive. Anyway got it all home, stripped the Buggy, found everything functioned. So with lots of cutting and fitting and raids into the Spares Box, soon had her running.Trial runs in the pond, scared the goldfish and saw she went well. What to do with her? No idea, will sit in my shed like all the other boats. hey ho!
