Day 1 - Hull

Alas not Hull, England, but Hull, Massachusetts - phew! Day one of a short New England holiday, returning to an area that we loved visiting a few years back.

A good flight over, an interesting chat with the immigration officer about our respective jobs, then headed to the hire car pound to collect the car - a very pleasant surprise in the form of a whizzy Fiat 500 Sport that should be fun for the week. Headed south on the I93 before heading north towards the coast and the beach resort of Hull / Nantasket. Completely dead off season but we quite like that sort of atmosphere.

Walked along the seafront for some fresh air (nippy but dry and even some sun) before finding Barefoot Bobs bar for some Blue Moon / Sam Adams beers and platters of fried scallops and haddock. It all hit the spot and after a good nights sleep we should feel human tomorrow.
