Our life with Autism

He scrubs up well

I had a bit of a lie in this morning up at 9.30 but it took me till 11.30 to get me Rach and Chris showered that's half the day gone.
Mum and dad popped in for lunch, cleaned out the rabbits and before I knew it the time was 2.30 and Rach had a sleep over party at 3pm.
Rach was invited to the party back in Feb and I text to say she would be there, no reply but never thought anything of it as some mums just don't bother.
Turned up today Scarlett opened the door and I could hear the Hoover going as she called her Mum, I asked where we early and Scarlett said ye it starts at 4 but it's ok, as her mum arrives at the door looking a bit confused I say it said 3 on the invite, she asks was it a printed one I say no hand written and it all falls into place :-/
Scarlett had written another invite to Rach and not told her mum the mobile no had one digit wrong so she never got the text, it was so embarrassing but she let Rach stay :-))

My blip is Tony, off to the Ronald McDonald House Ball. For those of you who don't know, Tony works for McDonalds and their Charity is the home from home houses that are based around the country for families of children who are in hospital long term. Tony is a Trustee at the AlderHey House in Liverpool and he takes a gang of his Managers and Consultants every year. It is a good night out but this is my second year of staying at home, the staff have changed over the years and our friends have moved on so I don't enjoy it sitting on a table with strangers and Tony feels bad leaving me to mingle but he has to so I happy to stay home.
