never let a ham sandwich go to waste

was one of Ella's pearls of wisdom today! It was another beautiful day. N had to do some work in Brora so we combined business and pleasure and after a very productive trip to the shoe shop and a starbucks shaped treat in town we headed for Brora for a picnic on the beach. We stopped at Blytheswood enroute and picked up a 50p toy each of the kids and a dining table (!) best charity shop in the world. So, sandy sandwiches, chilly toes and fresh air, followed by a cup of tea at the park while N did some work. Happy days.
