A tax too far?

During the dark days of the 80's, the government tried to introduce a tax on childrens clothing, it was the last straw.

And now they may be about to repeat the same mistake.

People have taken the harsh austerity mesaures on the chin and tried to get on with living. However the attempted introduction of a household charge and now a tax on 'septic tanks' has really angered the nation. No thought or consideration, badly conceived and open ended.

To date the nation has been quite restrained, regardless of the government's arrogance. Has a limit been reached?
