Hot Cross Buns

I've had a lovely day today in the kitchen. I love thumbing through my cook books and magazines and pushing myself to try different things which is probably why i felt like i cheated a bit yesterday blipping a bought tart. I rectified it today by baking a tray of hot cross buns with a couple of glasses of wine on the go. Kneading the dough was actually quite therapeutic and watching it rise in a bowl before my eyes was very satisfying. The kitchen smells great now so i just hope they taste as good as they look. I can feel a cup of tea coming on :-)
