Larking about

Stunning day. Sun kissed and exhausted yet very content.

Very early start - breakfast cooked, devoured and packed away by 8am. Tent away shortly after.

Ambled up into the hills mid morning. Lovely walk, nice to feel the heat of the sun on our backs.

Spotted an elusive peregrine which was nice. Masses of sky larks chortling away too. Birdtastic.

Beginning to wonder whether I'll ever play footy again, I used to be so agile. These days, I have less grace than an elephant. Reconstruction of both ACLs has certainly taken its toll, every bit of physical activity is an effort. Boo.

As you can probably imagine, there were lambs everywhere you looked; we stumbled across one which had literally just popped out, very cute.
