What a difference a day makes!!

After our disappointing day yesterday we half expected to find G'dad with his case packed ready to move to his bungalow this morning or halfway down the road. We found him sitting in the garden of his new residence enjoying the sun.

He was quite perky. He had enjoyed his breakfast, got what he had asked for and although the service is not "silver service", it will do!!

He is going to "give it a go" and knows that if it really doesn't suit we can look for somewhere else.

We were so relieved.

This afternoon we walked along the river Severn with Di, DJ and a neighbour's dog, Rosie, shown in the blip. The 7 mile round trip was helped with a pint at the pub, thirsty work walking!!

Tonight we are going to the pub to eat and enjoy a glass or two of wine.
