Tandem shadows

I said yesterday that I hoped that the Edinburgh fog would lift over the weekend so that I could go out on my tandem today. Unfortunately the fog stayed put, so instead of setting off from the house we drove down to the River Tweed near Galashiels with the bike on the car roof, and then enjoyed a short ride to Innerleithen and back. It was so warm - just like a proper summer's day.

It's difficult to take a photo of oneself when pedalling a tandem, but this shadow shot helps to present a picture of an afternoon of fun in the sun.
