Chorreador

You can imagine my dismay when I had a coffee-related mishap last Sunday, breaking my cafetière...

Having been to Costa Rica many times now I've ended up with a wealth of caffeine paraphernalia, including this simple stand - which thanks to the good people at Wikipedia I've established is called a Chorreador.

A little more rudimentary than a fancy French Press, perhaps, but it certainly does the job. And given that this is the traditional way for making coffee in Tico households it'll do me fine until I get a replacement.
