"Lord of the Manor"

A really warm day today in Suffolk so we took a ride out to Thornham Magna and walked around part of the 12 miles of Thornham Estate known as Thornham Walks which is open to the public. This was made possible by the late Lord Henniker who retired with his wife to Thornham Magna in the 1970's. At that time the Estate had few rights of way and the Hennikers were determined to open it up to the public therefore it has now become a beautiful place for everybody to walk and enjoy.
Amongst many other interesting finds along our walk we found this beautiful chair which had been skillfully carved out of an oak tree trunk which Bracken took a bit of a liking to.
