9 days ago I posted my last blip of Dr P kayaking on Lake Frederick.
8 days ago Dr P underwent surgery to resect a cancer of the colon.
She is now home recovering.
Dr P's mother and our dear friend Karla are visiting to assist in her recovery.
Fortunately the tumor does not appear to have spread to the liver, however
she will require six months of adjuvant chemotherapy.
10 years ago she underwent chemotherapy for breast cancer and at the time swore she would never go through that again.
She has easily reconsidered that decision because of her four children,
whom she would like to see graduate high school.
Many people go through much worse and we are confident that she will do well through this.

Over the weekend I will back blip my photos from the past 8 days.
