Welcom Home

We could not be more heartened to find a delicious cake at our doorstep upon returning from our long journey home. It was a beautiful gesture of friendship! So, I put this cake in our fridge, unpacked, went to get food to fill the fridge, ran a million errands (on very little sleep).

When it was time to pull our cake out for dessert, we found in the fridge this little guy (cracked shell and all) trying to dig in!

Thank goodness for plastic covers...

Cake was delish, by the way!
