Book group

Spent most of day interviewing at work and so didn't even poke my nose out of the door until it was time to go home.

Stopped off on the way home to pick up drinks and nibbles for book group. We talked about Room (again - did it for my other book group last year). The book is always a good one for group discussions and I certainly enjoyed reading it again. It was good to catch up with everyone again.

My goal of completing the curtains in time for book group were scuppered by all the other stuff I've been up to recently. You can see the sewing machine manual and my soft furnishing book on the table underneath the nibbles. I'll get there eventually!
