True

Well, not quite. I'll finish it tomorrow and get it true enough to use. That's all it needs to be since the brake's in the hub (or rather on the hub, in the space where that big nut is).

It was as I'd expected - just as I was finishing work, the postie arrived with armfuls of letters and then rummaged in her bag for the parcel of spokes. "Here let me take those", I said, trying to be helpful. And it would have been if I hadn't then dropped all her carefully ordered letters.

Anyway, it's looking all shiny and new now that I've taken out all the old tarnished, rusted and seized up spokes and replaced them with new ones.

Stopped in time to try out cycling to the nursery and bringing Ellen back on the tagalong. I had intended to take the trailer since I thought hanging on to the tagalong for seven miles might be too much but it was fine. She loved it, especially the really bumpy farm track between Pattiesmuir and Rosyth. Might make a Friday habit of that.
