Blue tit in tree

I must work on my titles:)

I had my camera on a tripod, nicely hidden at the bottom of the garden, with the 300mm lens trained on the nesting box hole most of the morning, yet managed to miss the blue tits investigating it. They have been in and out all week and today were in the tree it's attached to, but I didn't see them go in the box and hence not within the frame! Waste of time me having a remote control nearby then:)

So having dismantled it all, I just went for a straightforward blip of the bird in one of our trees.
