Long work day today, preceded by a 6am run (which helps with the frustration levels, and I was lying awake anyway). Got out for a break by Cambourne's grandiosely-named Lake Ewatt at lunchtime where these pair seemed very comfortable with my presence - the smaller (female? juvenile?) stayed put for 20 minutes while I took stupid numbers of shots.

A busy weekend beckons, M's in Germany, S's at a party tonight, then off with E to Oxford, I'm at a Advanced Driver Observer training / retesting session while J has art to do for GCSE; then to Oxford to collect the others.

Always an interesting experience having a police Class 1 driver in the passenger seat.
