inspired by wild flowers
What a surprise to see this front garden full of wild primroses. There must have been just the right conditions for them to settle and multiply. There is something rather magical about seeing a profusion of one wild species - with the occasional change of colour.
I wonder what will thrive in our garden? Will I be patient enough to wait and see? Hopefully, we can provide the right environment. With the pebbles and membrane removed, the soil looks starved of organic matter, although there are plenty of worms around. My research tells me that is just what I want for my wild garden. I wonder what seeds are lying dormant?
