Sunset at Thrupp Lake

By 5pm I just had to get out and away from marking exam papers. Took the 10 minute cycle to my favourite local lake. Haven't been for a fortnight and there's been so many changes. Most of the pussy willow and catkins are past their best but the hawthorn leaves and blossom are bursting out

It's been glorious all day and the sunset was no exception.
