I walked to Homebase down a rather seedy little path that runs under the railway line, and then between where the hospital used to be and the gasworks.

I found all sorts of lovely spring buds and shoots. I only had the point and press with me and it wasn't really up to the sort of magnification needed but I didn't want to post the infinitely crisper tulips I also snapped

I might have to re-visit over the weekend with the big boy, tripod and more suitable lenses ........ but I must get on with the garden too!
