Foxton locks
On the long, long journey home today to Anglesey we stopped off on the way to stretch our legs at Foxton locks in Leicestershire, lots going on and blippable opportunities.
There is a staircase of 10 locks on the Grand Union Canal dating from the 18th/19th century, many ponds with little waterfalls that carry the overspill from the canal.
A nice place to visit with plenty of walks along the towpaths.
