Pipe Dream

A very lazy day for me after what has been a hectic week (in a good way - I am on holiday after all).

Went to see 'The Hunger Games' this afternoon and it far exceeded my expectations. There was a hint of the distopian world of Orwell, a smidge of 'Lord of the Flies' as civilisation deteriorates and individuals have to choose between self-interest and the common good, and a pinch of Romeo and Juliet thrown in for good measure. All in all an entertaining way to spend a couple of hours.

Now for a lazy evening accompanied by a glass or two of red ...
