Any old iron...
I have a fascination for old cast iron sign work. These pieces have travelled from the US and UK. The 'neglect' sign comes from an abandoned North Eastern Railway livestock access gate near Durham whilst the old iron was dug up in my garden! It's standing on a Colebrookedale trivet, made in Pottsville PA and acquired from a junk shop in Gatlinburg NC and the 'Griswald Spindle' made in Erie, PA is a chimney draughter from a junk shop in Myrtle Beach SC.
These pieces have gradually been introduced into the house, more 'interesting' stuff is kept away from 'her' sight. I've been banned from displaying bus stop signs and street furniture. Women, Kuh! they just don't understand.
And don't even mention the tractor seats....
