Birds & Boats

I am experimenting with my new camera, learning its capacities and capabilities. The chances of success increase when shooting during the golden hour and including boats, one of my favorite subjects, and birds, which seem to always be around the fishing beach in town (must be something to do with the scraps the fishermen toss into the bay). These two guys sat patiently giving me plenty of time to try different angles and settings. My camera is not yet as intuitive as my trusty 7D, but I think that will come with time and practice.
