Birthday girl

"No kidding dad, you saying it's my Birthday?'

Pippa, our Jack Russell terrier is one year old today. She's still very much a pup. In this photograph she's irked because I've taken off her collar which has become a bit tatty. She's very attached to her collar and gets all of a panic when it's removed. She's happy now that it's back on.

It's a lovely sunny day and I expect we'll take her for a birthday walk this afternoon since I had a good morning cracking on with the writing. It's not often I can get 3,000 words down before lunch. Right now she's being very patient. But it won't last.
