Coffee at Pikku-Telkko

I skied to the island of Pikku-Telkko. I have been there previously only once, several years ago. The skating track on the ice passed by the island closeby back then. The island is just about 4 kilometres from downtown. Wish I had a row boat, could go there also when the lake isn't frozen. It's a lovely place to make a fire and relax.

The skiing track hasn't been maintained at least for a couple of days but the ice is obviously still strong. People were driving on the ice road with their cars. The speed limit on the ice is 50 km/h and as the top layer of the ice is already in quite a bad condition, most were driving even slower. Still the ice road saves some time if you're going to Vehmersalmi as it makes the distance a lot shorter.
