Today was my 8th year anniversary at work. I received a nice card, signed by coworkers and my boss bought a couple of little cakes for us. They were tasty, I had a little slice of each, chocolate truffle and tiramisu. :P

I remember when I rolled into the parking lot the first day, 8 years ago, I thought, this is it, this is my 'big girl' job. I have to act like now. Fifteen years before that I had been a pre-school teacher. A far cry from corporate work. I had a year and 1/2 at Deering Banjos and there I got my feet wet to working with 'adults' again.
In the 8 years with the company, I've been a team assistant, and moving up and around from there to my current position a Sr. Admin Assistant and Business Segment Liaison. I have been blessed to make it through to this point. I do my best everyday and try to keep a positive attitude. That is all you can do!

Ei8ht years...not a bad ride so far!!!
