Losing a day on the way to Tokyo

Said a good bye to London, after paying a visit to Churchill's war time cabinet facilities.
I could recognize in the park besides Buckingham Palace that spring is arriving by the bright flowers and the cherry blossom tree. Again, it was a lovely dunny & warm day for me to be sent off.

So on I go to take a flight to Tokyo.
Almost about to leave Europe in this photo flying right beside Helsinki.

Approximately half a day flight from Heathrow to Tokyo, and Tokyo is 9 hours ahead which adds up losing almost a day. Strange feeling to get on the flight at 7pm and get off at 4pm.

Astonished with the Japanese carriers cabin attends remind me the high standard of too much service on the flight.
First. Whenever they speak to a passenger, they bend their knees till they become lower then the passenger.
Second. When I handed them my empty bottle of water to bin, they received it both hands.
Something I thought worth mentioning because I have not seen it in Europe (even though as a Japanese, we take it for granted).
