Heron on the pond.

When the heron visits the pond opposite the seagulls usually chase him away. Today a gang of three herons arrived together while we were having breakfast. The biggest one took prime watch on the pond while the other two sat in the tree to see if he would stay before flying off. I dashed out to get a shot but failed as someone entered the park from the other side and he flew off. Did get this pic. though from the front door step. He is just visible. Probably one of the biggest herons I have seen to date. Still, at least the fish in the pond have been saved this time.
