La Princesse

The giant spider has been removed from her tower by scientists and transported to a laboratory at the Albert Dock.
She is to be tested for her responses to various stimuli; music, snow, fireworks and more and is expected to waken tomorrow from hibernation!!
The prospect of a 50 foot high spider prowling the city and taking a bath in the dock promises to be an unforgettable sight.
I don't begrudge my council tax for a spectacle like this!
